Hi, I am David Blacker.  I was born in the Boston area and along with my twin sister, Marci, grew up enjoying skiing, golf, and lacrosse.   I met my wife, Kelly Begley, in New York in 1998 and we were married in 2001.  We have two boys aged 16 and 13.  Kelly grew up in Washington, and Lake Chelan was a staple in her family’s summer vacations.   Lake Chelan has become a favorite location for our family since our boys were very little and when the opportunity to purchase unit 315 came in 2016, we couldn’t pass it up.   We use the condo year-round, skiing in the winter and spending time on the lake in the summer.     We moved back to the NW in 2020, settled in Bellevue and have enjoyed spending even more time at the Lake with family. It has been an honor to be on the board this last year and I look forward to continuing in my role.   A few of my experiences for being on the board include the following:   I owned and managed a 12-unit apartment complex while living in Ohio (2004-2007) and continued the oversight of this property in Ohio when we relocated to Tennessee until the properties sold in 2010.   I started and was the president of an HOA when we lived in Tennessee (2007-2011).  During the past year I have been on the board and am very proud of the work that has been done.  We have been able to improve the internet service, increase parking and have made other changes to make staying at Petersons easier such as the new wrist bands with key cards.  It has been a pleasure being on the board and I look forward to continuing to keep Petersons moving forward.
